Oh Hi!

I’m Aisling Salisbury (bonus points if you pronounce it correctly), but most people call me Ash. Around here, though, I’m Taylor.

I’m originally from Australia and moved to the United States in 2019 to chase an aviation career. Flying has always been my first love, taking me from travel agent to flight instructor, to cabin crew, and now to airline pilot. But somewhere between takeoffs and landings, I realised I was ready for a new adventure.

That adventure started as cosplay.

For years, I spent my free time becoming some of my favourite characters for conventions, Disney trips and Halloween. Buffy Summers, Cruella De Vil, Gadget Hackwrench, Talla Keyali, Lorraine Baines, if there was a costume to build, I was all in.

Then Halloween 2024 happened, and I stepped into my first Taylor Swift era.

It was such a hit that I brought her back the following year. Just as life threw my own future into uncertainty, playing Taylor unexpectedly became my escape. Every event, every friendship bracelet, every smile reminded me that sometimes the things we create end up saving us, too.

By 2026, my future became a little more certain again, but I realised playing Taylor wasn’t just a hobby anymore. It was hope. So I dusted off the singing voice I’d left behind in high school, perfected the costumes, and turned a passion into Taylored On Tuesday.

My goal has never been to convince anyone I’m Taylor Swift. It’s to recreate the feeling. The joy. The excitement. That little bit of magic you felt during the Eras Tour.

One of the greatest compliments I’ve ever received was:

“We know you’re not Taylor Swift… but we keep catching ourselves saying, ‘That’s Taylor Swift.’”

That’s exactly what I hope to create at every event. Like meeting a favourite character at Disney, it’s about giving you a moment that feels wonderfully real—a memory you’ll still be talking about long after the music ends.

Before I close this out, I want to acknowledge that every story has the people who quietly helped write its opening chapters, and mine is no different.

First, there’s Shannon of Beauclair Photography, whose incredible talent is behind so many of the moments captured on this website. She has a remarkable gift for seeing the magic before anyone else does, and I’m endlessly grateful she chose to share it with me.

Then there’s Sally of ‘Ateliercorbeau’, and Ivie and Jade of ‘IvieAndJade’. Their breathtaking recreations of some of Taylor’s most iconic looks weren’t just costumes to me—they were the spark that lit the match. Seeing their artistry made me wonder, what if? That tiny idea grew into a dream, and that dream became Taylored On Tuesday.

Sometimes all it takes is someone else’s creativity to remind you that your own story is waiting to be written. Thank you for helping me find mine.

Now last, why Taylored On Tuesday?

Because Tuesday is far from a typical night.

(But don’t worry—this Taylor is available every day of the week.)

Love,
